Laura de Juan, NeuronUP’s Director of Human Resources
How can a company grow while helping its people grow alongside it?
That is one of the main challenges facing Laura de Juan, NeuronUP’s director of human resources. After more than two decades working in people management and organizational transformation, Laura joins NeuronUP with extensive experience in talent development, leadership, and transformation projects.

She joins at a pivotal moment for the company: a period of growth when attracting talent matters, but so do developing and recognizing that talent and creating the conditions for people to grow professionally.
Her goal is to support this transformation without losing the essence of NeuronUP, strengthening teams and helping turn individual talent into collective talent that can make an impact.
Next, Laura explains why she decided to join NeuronUP, what she hopes to build in human resources, and what people looking for a place to learn, contribute, and develop their careers can find here.
-To start: Who are you, what is your
role, and when did you join NeuronUP?
“I’m Laura, NeuronUP’s director of human resources. I joined in late 2025 to support the company through a period of growth and transformation that is especially interesting from a people perspective “.
-Before joining NeuronUP, you built a broad professional career. Which moments or experiences from that journey stand out to you, and how have they shaped the professional you are today?
“Looking back, I think adaptability has been a constant: adapting to different sectors, company sizes, teams, and ways of working. And, just as importantly, understanding the business and the context at any given moment—not just to identify needs, but to anticipate them.”
-After that career journey, what led you to take the leap and join NeuronUP? What did you see in the project that made you want to be part of it?
I was looking for something different. I was coming from a large multinational and wanted to experience a project from a different perspective: a smaller company that was growing quickly and still had a lot to build.
I also saw a product with purpose at NeuronUP, and a point in the company’s journey when human resources could make a significant contribution. The opportunity to help build that next chapter was what attracted me most.
-Now that you know NeuronUP from the inside, what stands out to you about its culture and work environment?
I’d highlight the drive to get things done, the strong commitment to the company’s purpose, and the great work environment.
We’re a company in the midst of rapid growth, which means not everything is done or perfectly defined yet. To me, that’s part of the appeal: there’s room to question, suggest, and build.
-As director of human resources, what do you want to bring to NeuronUP, and what would you like to help build in this new stage?
My goal is to help NeuronUP grow without losing the things that make it great along the way.
I want us to have better tools for hiring, developing, and recognizing people; to prepare managers to lead teams; and to make sure people understand what we expect of them and how they can grow within the company.
-What do you think someone looking for a place to develop their career can find here?
Above all, opportunities to get things done and learn. NeuronUP is growing, which means new challenges, projects, and responsibilities keep coming up.
This isn’t a place where everything is laid out in advance. If you’re someone who takes initiative and is eager to take on responsibility, you can make a real impact and grow as the company grows.
-Based on your experience in human resources, what qualities do you think are especially well suited to the way people work and grow at NeuronUP?
I’d say curiosity, initiative, and adaptability. People who ask questions, make suggestions, and can navigate a fast-changing environment.
We’re welcoming highly talented people to the team, and to grow, we also need to turn individual talent into collective talent. Collaboration and teamwork are key to making an impact on the business.
To wrap up, describe NeuronUP in three words.
Purpose, talent, and growth.
Would you like to build your story at NeuronUP?
Laura’s story shows that professional growth also means choosing new challenges, bringing everything you’ve learned, and continuing to build. Her arrival at NeuronUP marks a new chapter with a clear goal: to foster talent and help people grow as the company does.
At NeuronUP, we’re looking for people who are curious, proactive, adaptable, and eager to make an impact. Professionals who want to learn, take on responsibility, and play an active role in a growing project.
If you’re looking for a place where you can contribute, develop professionally, and help build the future of a company with purpose, NeuronUP is for you.
