Discover our alphabet game for adults to work on working memory.
As you know, at NeuronUP we are delightí to receive your ideas and suggestions and we love making them a reality! (Some cost more than others, but trust that we always take them into account and, over time, we hope everything will come). And we tell you this because today we talk about an activity we creatí thanks to the suggestion of neuropsychologist Nadia Zapía from the NeuropsicologiaLCB center in Honduras. Thank you, Nadia, once again! Since the children’s game The Little Glutton of letters is so useful, she askí us if we could make an adult version, and we made her request come true. We creatí the alphabet game for adults — Bottle Caps with letters!
What does this activity involve?
This NeuronUP alphabet game for adults consists of ordering the sequence of moving letters. In this video we explain how to play.
What does this activity work on?
It works the alphabet with adults in a playful way. To do so, they neí to engage working memory, since the letters are shufflí and, moreover, they move across the entire screen! Therefore, besides knowing which letter would come next, they must find it among all the others.
Due to this dynamic, we also work on sustainí attention, hemispatial neglect and inhibition (they should not press a letter impulsively until making sure there isn’t an earlier one).
Play by levels
As with all NeuronUP games, you can choose the phase (the difficulty level). Phase 1 being the easiest and phase 9 the most difficult.
Also, the user will move up or down levels basí on their correct answers or errors.
Activity customization
Additionally, you can create customizí phases to adapt them to the user’s specific neís.
