General health psychologist and PhD in Psychology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with extensive experience in the psychosocial rehabilitation of people with severe mental illness. Specialized in cognitive‑behavioral therapy and cognitive rehabilitation, he has focused his clinical work on enhancing cognitive functions and social cognition of patients with psychosis and other complex conditions. Currently he works as a psychologist at the Centro de Rehabilitación Psicosocial (CRPS) de Aranjuez, where he is head of the research area within the Línea de Rehabilitación Psicosocial of Hermanas Hospitalarias, leading innovative mental health intervention projects.
In the academic field, he combines his practice with university teaching as a professor in the Máster en Psicología General Sanitaria de la Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) and collaborates in postgraduate programs at the Universidad Jaume I y la Universidad Internacional de Valencia, in addition to delivering specialized training at Ítaca Formación. His editorial work includes authorship of the book “Neurocognición, cognición social y metacognición en psicosis” (Ediciones Pirámide) and numerous scientific publications focused on cognitive and psychosocial rehabilitation. As a science communicator, he participates in international conferences and shares advances in mental health through specialized media and professional platforms, fostering the transfer of knowledge to clinical practice.
