Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology
Neuropsychology, the discipline responsible for studying and analyzing the functioning of the brain in
relation to behavior, is one of the areas of knowledge and professional practice most
demanded today. When we talk about the child or pediatric field of this discipline,
this impact and need increases exponentially, as can be easily seen in
recent years across multiple indicators.
Master in Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology
For all these reasons, Ítaca Formación has decided to create a Master in Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology program with Iban Onandia as academic director.
What is the objective?
This Master aims to be a reference in the training of child and adolescent neuropsychology, so that it not only provides students who take it with the theoretical knowledge necessary for understanding and practicing the discipline, but also with theoretical-practical skills and abilities that allow them to assess and intervene in a wide range of cases that may require a child and adolescent neuropsychologist in any of the settings and services that may need a professional of this kind.

Content of the Master in Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology
This Master initially has modules introducing neurodevelopment and cognition.
Subsequently, there is a module that analyzes the different competencies a neuropsychologist can have beyond those classically conceived and widely known in clinical practice.
Finally, and what is most novel, we will have a clinical case workshop where to put into practice everything learned throughout the Master, both in terms of knowledge and
in skills.

- module 3: foundations of assessment and intervention in child neuropsychology,
- module 4: childhood neurocognitive disorders,
- module 5: clinical case workshop,
- final project of the university specialist.
