Marcos Ríos-Lago holds a PhD in Psychology and has a solid track record in academic, clinical, and research settings.

In the clinical field his role stands out as a neuropsychologist in the Brain Injury Unit of the Hospital Beata María Ana, in the Neuroimaging Unit of the Center for Research on Neurological Disease and the Reina Sofía Foundation, and in the Diagnostic Imaging and Neurosurgery services at Hospital Ruber Internacional (Madrid).

Regarding the academic field, his role as a tenured professor at the National University of Distance Education (UNED).

Meanwhile, the research field has become one of the fundamental pillars of Marcos Ríos-Lago’s work, having carried out numerous studies focused on attention, the executive functions, processing speed, and brain plasticity.
