In our daily lives we often have to come up with solutions to different problems, from matters of little importance to others that are very significant. For this it is essential to be able to generate different options in our minds and then choose the most appropriate one. Even after making a decision, circumstances may change and we may need to change strategy. For this reason, cognitive flexibility is crucial in our lives.
What does it involve?
Users must organize different elements into distinct groups. They must make different groups according to the story, bearing in mind that no group can be the same.

What does this activity train?
With this game we are helping the user to exercise cognitive flexibility, obtaining different combinations of various elements. To achieve this, the user will also have to work on planning, since they must plan the best way to do it to meet the requirements demanded by the task.
Ways to work with this game
Varied combinations is a game and as such it can be used in two ways:
1. Level-based phases
The game is divided into phases. Phase 1 is the easiest and phase 9 the most difficult.
The user will automatically move up or down levels according to their successes or mistakes. Additionally, the professional can choose the phase manually.
Activity customization
You can also create customized phases to adapt them to the specific needs of each person.
2.2 Parameters
We can set some parameters of this exercise to work on cognitive flexibility in adults such as:
- Number of elements.
- Elements in each group.
- Number of groups.

You can also choose other general aspects such as:
- The number of exercises.
- The maximum time.
- Whether you want a visible timer for the activity or not.
