Dr. Genny Lubrini is a prominent clinical neuropsychologist, researcher and lecturer, with a strong track record in the field of cognitive neuroscience.
She currently serves as a full professor in the Departamento de Psicología Básica ll of the Facultad de Psicología at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), where she teaches courses related to the neuropsychology of attention and memory, and actively participates in continuing education programs in neuropsychology.
Clinically, Dr. Lubrini is part of the Instituto de Neurociencias de los Hospitales Vithas in Madrid, where she specializes in the assessment and treatment of cognitive, emotional and behavioral disturbances associated with neurodegenerative diseases and acquired brain injury.
In addition, Dr. Lubrini has developed an intensive research career focused on attention deficits and information processing speed in pathologies such as multiple sclerosis (MS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), Parkinson’s disease (PD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She is a member of the Grupo de Investigación en Neurociencia Cognitiva y Neuroimagen (GINN), collaborating with institutions such as UNED, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the Hospital Ruber Internacional and the City University of London.
Her academic training includes a degree in Psychology from the Università degli Studi di Padova (Italia), a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology and a PhD in Psychology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2013.
