About Genny Lubrini
Dr. Genny Lubrini is a prominent clinical neuropsychologist, researcher, and educator with a solid trajectory in the field of cognitive neurosciences.
She currently serves as a full professor in the Department of Basic Psychology II at the Faculty of Psychology at the National University of Distance Education (UNED), where she teaches subjects related to neuropsychology of attention and memory, and actively participates in ongoing training programs in neuropsychology.
In the clinical field, Dr. Lubrini is part of the Institute of Neurosciences at Vithas Hospitals in Madrid, where she specializes in the evaluation and treatment of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral alterations associated with neurodegenerative diseases and acquired brain injury.
On the other hand, Dr. Lubrini has developed an intense research activity focused on attention deficits and information processing speed in pathologies such as multiple sclerosis (MS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), Parkinson’s disease (PD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She is a member of the Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging Research Group (GINN), collaborating with institutions such as UNED, Complutense University of Madrid, Ruber Internacional Hospital, and City University of London.
Her academic background includes a degree in Psychology from the University of Padova (Italy), a master’s in Cognitive Neuropsychology, and a PhD in Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid, where she received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2013.
