occupational therapy

The 27th of October is World Occupational Therapist Day, and from our cognitive rehabilitation platform we want to give a shout out to the importance of occupational therapy and its professionals in the rehabilitation and stimulation processes to achieve maximum functionality of people with some kind of physical, cognitive or behavioral limitation.

What is the goal of the occupational therapist?

The main goal of the occupational therapist is to enable people to participate again in the activities of daily life. In order to do this, the occupational therapist must first assess the person’s physical, mental and social condition and, once the needs have been detected, provide them with a personalized treatment adapted to their condition in order to help them obtain the highest level of autonomy.

Occupational therapy is a fundamental discipline to increase the autonomy and quality of life of patients and today it is time to claim it so that more and more people are aware of the usefulness of this still unknown profession.

Vindicate the work of the occupational therapist!
